Primary Responsibilities:

• Prepares complex tax returns and tax research (individual, corporate, partnership and fiduciary)
• Reviews tax work of less experienced staff
• Trains, mentors and provides work direction to staff
• Reviews tax information supplied by the client; may meet with or call the client with questions
• Recognizes, anticipates and resolves tax issues; makes recommendations
• Markets firm services to existing and prospective clients
• Meets productivity and efficiency standards (billable hours)

Hiring Profile:

• 2+ years of CPA experience
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
• CPA preferred
• Prior CPA firm experience
• Good communication skills
• Excellent client service
• Must be analytical, a self-starter, motivated and organized
• Ability to juggle many projects simultaneously
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Knowledge of the ProSystem fx product suite is a plus
